Brown Butter Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies 

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp butter, melted 

  • 1 egg yolk 

  • ¼ cup cane sugar 

  • ¼ cup coconut or brown sugar 

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup 

  • 1 tsp vanilla 

  • ¼ cup pumpkin 

  • 1 cup and 1 tbsp flour 

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon 

  • ¼ tsp baking soda 

  • ¼ tsp baking powder 

  • ¼ tsp salt 

  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips

 

Recipe:

  • Preheat oven to 350F 

  • Brown 6 tablespoons of melted butter and let cool for 10 minutes. Add this to a mixing bowl, along with egg yolk, cane sugar, coconut or brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, and pumpkin. Mix until smooth 

  • Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms 

  • Fold dark chocolate chips into the dough. Chill in the freezer for 10-15 minutes - Roll the dough into 2 tablespoon sized balls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet 

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes. Top with some flaky salt and enjoy!
