Brown Butter Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
6 tbsp butter, melted
1 egg yolk
¼ cup cane sugar
¼ cup coconut or brown sugar
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
¼ cup pumpkin
1 cup and 1 tbsp flour
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup dark chocolate chips
Recipe:
Preheat oven to 350F
Brown 6 tablespoons of melted butter and let cool for 10 minutes. Add this to a mixing bowl, along with egg yolk, cane sugar, coconut or brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, and pumpkin. Mix until smooth
Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms
Fold dark chocolate chips into the dough. Chill in the freezer for 10-15 minutes - Roll the dough into 2 tablespoon sized balls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet
Bake for 10-12 minutes. Top with some flaky salt and enjoy!
