Salted Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 egg yolks
1/3 cup cane sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup browned butter (cooled until warm)
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup sourdough discard
1 & 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
Recipe:
Preheat your oven to 350F.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, cane sugar, brown sugar, browned butter, vanilla, and sourdough discard until smooth.
Mix in the all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until a dough forms.
Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
Transfer to a parchment paper lined baking sheet using a large cookie scoop (or about 3 tbsp at a time) Top with more dark chocolate chunks and then transfer to the oven for 12 minutes.
Transfer the baking sheet to a wire rack to cool and top with flaky salt!
