Chai Concentrate
Ingredients
4 cups of water
4 tbsp coconut sugar (or sweetener of choice)
4 cinnamon sticks
½ piece of fresh ginger
3 star anise
1 tsp cloves
1 tbsp cardamom
Recipe:
Add water, coconut sugar, cinnamon sticks, ginger, star anise, cloves, and cardamom to a saucepan.
Bring to a boil over low-medium heat. Let simmer for 5 minutes, stirring every so often.
Turn off the heat and let the pan sit covered for 20 minutes
Strain and transfer the liquid to a mason jar. Add four black tea bags and let steep at room temperature
Once cooled, remove the tea bags and store the concentrate in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!
