Homemade Halloween Candy
Homemade Reeses
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup and 1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 cup coconut flour
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil
Recipe:
In a large mixing bowl, mix together peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut flour until smooth
Transfer this to a candy mold or roll out flat using parchment paper and cut shapes using cookie cutters. Place molded fillings in freezer for 20 minutes
While the filling sets, melt the chocolate chips with coocnut oil
Dip the Reese’s filling in the chocolate, coating evenly. Transfer to a wire rack to set
Enjoy right away or store in your fridge for up to a week!
Homemade Butterfingers
Ingredients:
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups corn flakes
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil
Recipe:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla
Fold in corn flakes and salt. The corn flakes will crush as you mix
Transfer the mixture to a candy mold or roll out flat using parchment paper and cut shapes using cookie cutters. Once molded/cut, place in the freezer for 20 minutes
While the filling sets, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil
Dip the Butterfingers in the chocolate, coating evening. Transfer to a wire rack to set
