Pumpkin Dinner Rolls

 

Recipe:

  • Preheat oven to 375F

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together warm milk, brown sugar, and instant yeast

  • Next, whisk in pumpkin puree, egg, and melted butter

  • Mix in the flour, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until a shaggy dough forms

  • Transfer the dough to a clean floured surface and knead until smooth

  • Transfer back to the mixing bowl and let rise until the dough doubles in size — about 1 hour. I put the dough in my oven with the light on to keep it warm

  • Once the dough has risen, transfer to a clean floured surface and divide into 12 small pieces. Roll each of them into a ball

  • Place in a baking dish and bake for 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown

  • Brush with melted butter and enjoy!

  • 3 tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast (1 packet)

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

  • 2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/2 tsp salt
