The Best Homemade Granola
Ingredients:
3 tbsp of your favorite nut butter
¼ cup of liquid sweetener (maple syrup or honey)
3 tbsp coconut or olive oil
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
¾ cup rolled oats
¾ cup quick oats
Optional Mix-ins
1 tbsp shredded coconut
1 tbsp cacao nibs
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp sliced almonds
Pinch of flaky salt
Recipe:
Preheat oven to 250F
In a large mixing bowl, combine the nut butter, liquid sweetener, oil, and vanilla bean paste.
Next, stir in the oats and whatever mix-ins your heart desires. Mix until everything is evenly coated
Spread the granola mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown
Once the granola is done baking, pop into the freezer for about 15 minutes
Break the granola apart and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks
