The Best Homemade Granola

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp of your favorite nut butter

  • ¼ cup of liquid sweetener (maple syrup or honey)

  • 3 tbsp coconut or olive oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

  • ¾ cup rolled oats

  • ¾ cup quick oats

Optional Mix-ins

  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut

  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp sliced almonds

  • Pinch of flaky salt

 

Recipe:

  • Preheat oven to 250F

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the nut butter, liquid sweetener, oil, and vanilla bean paste.

  • Next, stir in the oats and whatever mix-ins your heart desires. Mix until everything is evenly coated

  • Spread the granola mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown

  • Once the granola is done baking, pop into the freezer for about 15 minutes

  • Break the granola apart and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks
