Sugar Cookie Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup golden coconut sugar or cane sugar

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 fresh vanilla bean or 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp almond extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Recipe:

  • In a saucepan over low-medium heat, mix together all of the ingredients

  • Bring the mixture to a boil, turn the heat to low, and let simmer for 15 minutes—stirring every minute or so

  • Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool for about 20 minutes

  • Next, remove the vanilla bean from the pan and transfer the mixture to a pour spout bottle

  • Enjoy and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!

Chai Gingerbread Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • 1 1/2 cups coconut or brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup molasses

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger

  • 1 tsp ground cloves

  • 3 crushed cardamom pods or 1/2 tsp ground cardamom

  • 3 star anise

Recipe:

  • Heat a saucepan to low-medium heat. Add in all of the ingredients and stir

  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then turn the heat to low, and let this simmer for 15 minutes—stirring every minute or so

  • Turn off the heat and move the pot off the stove. Let the mixture cool for about 20 minutes

  • Next, strain out the spices and transfer to a pour spout bottle

  • Enjoy and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!
